Don Surber » Blog Archive » Boycott boosts Fox News ratings: "Liberals may have pushed timid advertisers from the Glenn Beck show, but the ads are appearing elsewhere on Fox News, which just moved up into the No. 2 slot for all cable networks in prime time, Media Bistro reported.

MSNBC is No. 24 and CNN No. 26 in prime time.

Beck of course is not in prime time. He is in the very non-prime time slot of 5 p.m., drawing prime time numbers. On Friday, he beat Sean Hannity.

That was a one-time thing, but Media Bistro pointed out that last week, Beck’s show ”had its highest rated week ever among Households (1,907,000) and Total Viewers (2,409,000), and second best week in the A25-54 demo (682,000).”

Cutting to the chase, Beck draws 1 million more viewers at 5 pm. than CNN and MSNBC do 8-11 pm. Combined.

Eventually, advertisers are going to figure out that passing up that many viewers simply is not worth it.

By the way, my unscientific poll shows conservative women 50+ think he’s cute."
