Chandler mall shooting involves fugitive; standoff at Baja Fresh ends with arrest: "A fugitive who was mistakenly freed from jail reportedly shot at a task force that was tailing him at Chandler Fashion Mall Wednesday, authorities said.
A short time later, there were reported shots fired inside a Baja Fresh restaurant across the street from the mall, and police say they believe it involves the same suspect, whom the U.S. Marshal's Office has identified as Daniel Perez. There's a standoff and negotiations with the suspect at the restaurant are ongoing, authorities said."
