The photograph above is of a fourteen-year old girl called Hena. It was taken shortly before she died. She was a victim of rape but it was not the rape that caused her death, but Islamic sharia law. Hena was the daughter of a farmer, Darbesh Kha, and lived in a village in the district of Shariatpur in southern Bangladesh.
