W.H. denies troops leaving Iraq | POLITICO 44: The White House is denying a report that says the Obama administration has decided to drop the number of American troops in Iraq to 3,000 at the end of the year.
Fox News reported Tuesday that according to sources "familiar with the inner workings and decision on U.S. troops movements in Iraq," Defense Secretary Leon Panetta already approved the proposed troop reduction and timeline, and that some senior commanders were "livid" about the decision.
