Gallup: Real 99 Percenters Twice as Likely to be Conservative as Liberal | CNSnews.com: (CNSNews.com) - An analysis of more than 65,000 Americans polled by Gallup during the Obama presidency indicates that among the 99 percent of American adults who do not rank in the top one percent for income, conservatives outnumber liberals by approximately 2-to-1.
According to Gallup's data, Americans in the 99 percent are slightly more likely to say they are conservative than Americans in the top 1 percent—although the difference between the percentage of self-professed conservatives in the 99 percent and the percentage in the top 1 percent falls within the polling margin of error.
