DEBKAfile, Political Analysis, Espionage, Terrorism, Security: "Libyan rebel “officers” sold Hizballah and Hamas thousands of chemical shells from the stocks of mustard and nerve gas that fell into rebel hands when they overran Muammar Qaddafi’s military facilities in and around Benghazi, debkafile’s exclusive military and intelligence sources report.
Word of the capture touched off a scramble in Tehran and among the terrorist groups it sponsors to get hold of their first unconventional weapons.

According to our sources, the rebels offloaded at least 2,000 artillery shells carrying mustard gas and 1,200 nerve gas shells for cash payment amounting to several million dollars."

Memo suggests FBI had mole inside ABC News in 1990s - The Center for Public Integrity: "A once-classified FBI memo reveals that the bureau treated a senior ABC News journalist as a potential confidential informant in the 1990s, pumping the reporter to ascertain the source of a sensational but uncorroborated tip that the network had obtained during its early coverage of the Oklahoma City bombing.

The journalist, whose name is not disclosed in the document labeled “secret,” not only cooperated but provided the identity of a confidential source, according to the FBI memo — a possible breach of journalistic ethics if he or she did not have the source’s permission."

Two men shot and killed at border crossing - SignOnSanDiego.com: "TIJUANA — In a rare shooting at the San Ysidro border crossing, two San Diego workers were killed early Monday as they sat in a pickup waiting to enter the U.S. The men were on their way to work when someone shot them repeatedly with a 9 mm weapon.

The Baja California Attorney General’s Office identified the victims as Kevin Joel Romero, 28, and Sergio Salcido Luna, 25. The agency provided few details of the incident, which occurred at about 2:40 a.m., a time when many workers are in line to cross.

The men’s employer said they lived in Tijuana and worked for West Coast Beverage Maintenance, a company on Morena Boulevard that services and cleans draft beer equipment for bars and restaurants."

Uncovered: New $2 billion bailout in Obamacare | Byron York | Beltway Confidential | Washington Examiner

Uncovered: New $2 billion bailout in Obamacare | Byron York | Beltway Confidential | Washington Examiner: "Investigators for the House Energy and Commerce Committee have discovered that a little-known provision in the national health care law has allowed the federal government to pay nearly $2 billion to unions, state public employee systems, and big corporations to subsidize health coverage costs for early retirees. At the current rate of payment, the $5 billion appropriated for the program could be exhausted well before it is set to expire.

The discovery came on the eve of an oversight hearing focused on the workings of an obscure agency known as CCIO -- the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight. CCIO, which is part of the Department of Health and Human Services, oversees the implementation of Section 1102 of the Affordable Care Act, which created something called the Early Retiree Reinsurance Program. The legislation called for the program to spend a total of $5 billion, beginning in June 2010 -- shortly after Obamacare was passed -- and ending on January 1, 2014, as the system of national health care exchanges was scheduled to go into effect."

'Al-Qaeda snatched missiles' in Libya | Perth Now

'Al-Qaeda snatched missiles' in Libya | Perth Now: "AL-QAEDA'S offshoot in North Africa has snatched surface-to-air missiles from an arsenal in Libya during the civil strife there, Chad's President says.

Idriss Deby Itno did not say how many surface-to-air missiles were stolen, but told the African weekly Jeune Afrique that he was '100 per cent sure' of his assertion.

'The Islamists of al-Qaeda took advantage of the pillaging of arsenals in the rebel zone to acquire arms, including surface-to-air missiles, which were then smuggled into their sanctuaries in Tenere,' a desert region of the Sahara that stretches from northeast Niger to western Chad, Deby said in the interview.

'This is very serious. AQIM is becoming a genuine army, the best equipped in the region,' he said.

His claim was echoed by officials in other countries in the region who said that they were worried that al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) might have acquired 'heavy weapons', thanks to the insurrection."

National Inflation Association

National Inflation Association: "Gold prices surged today to a new all time high of $1,463.70 per ounce, while silver prices soared to a new 31-year high of $39.785 per ounce. Silver is now up 129% since NIA declared silver the best investment for the next decade on December 11th, 2009, at $17.40 per ounce. The gold/silver ratio is now down to 37, compared to a gold/silver ratio of 66 when NIA declared silver the best investment for the next decade. This means that not only is silver up 129% in terms of dollars since December 11th, 2009, but silver has also increased in purchasing power by 1.78X in terms of gold.

Gold is the world's most stable asset and the best gauge of inflation. This brand new breakout in the price of gold leads us to believe that the Federal Reserve is getting ready to unleash QE3 at the end of June. The Fed will surely not call it QE3, but NIA can pretty much guarantee that the Fed will continue on with their purchases of U.S. treasuries. If the Fed pauses after QE2, it will mean that treasury bond yields will need to surge to a level where they attract enough private sector and foreign central bank buyers in order to not only support the funding of our rapidly rising budget deficits, but to support the redemption of maturing treasury securities."

A Despot’s “Dear Son” Letter to a U.S. President | FrontPage Magazine

A Despot’s “Dear Son” Letter to a U.S. President | FrontPage Magazine: "President Obama found a surprise on Wednesday when he opened the White House mailbox: a three-page letter from Muammar Gaddafi. Gaddafi opens his message familiarly, addressing Obama as his “son” and, in friendly fashion, hoping Obama will continue on as president and win the next election. But the reason for Gaddafi’s dropping Obama a line while NATO bombs are dropping on him was essentially to get the US president to intervene and call off the bombing campaign that began last March 17.

“As you know too well democracy and building of civil society cannot be achieved by means of missiles and aircraft, or by backing armed member of AlQaeda in Benghazi,” Gaddafi wrote in ungrammatical English, although his authorship cannot be confirmed.

A White House spokesman said this letter was “not the first” from Gaddafi to Obama. In a previous one, he called the American leader “our child” and sent it just as the bombing of Libya was about to begin. The letter’s purpose was to explain that he was remaining in power to fight al Qaeda.

“If you find them (al-Qaeda) take over American cities, what would you do?” Gaddafi wrote."

Like many Americans, Ms. Pizzi believes that children born to people who entered the nation illegally and/or who continue to live here illegally should not be granted the same rights and privileges that legal immigrants obtain only after negotiating a mountain of paperwork and waiting for a very long time."

For years, Democrats have been using taxpayer money so that their buddies in public sector unions never have to know when there's a recession. People who are already suffering have to suffer more so that those who are doing pretty well don't have to suffer at all.

The high salaries and magnificent benefits paid to government employees are used to fund the public sector unions, which then funnel a portion of that money back to the Democrats, who vote for the pay packages of government workers. The unions function as a pass-through from the taxpayers straight to Democrats running for re-election."

President Barack Obama in the Oval Office April 4, 2011

Tim Adams, who was senior elections clerk for the city and county of Honolulu during the 2008 campaign, made the statements in a two-hour interview with a group looking to disprove claims made by so-called birthers, those challenging Obama's legal qualification to be president.

'I think people believe there's been some kind of cover-up. And I don't think it's some big nefarious conspiracy. I think it's politics as usual,' Adams said March 31 on Reality Check Radio, an Internet program on BlogTalkRadio.

'Barack Obama's official autobiography was put out to the public for the public's consumption and we all know politicians – they have a public persona, it's created for consumption by the electorate – and I think that they've been caught fibbing, and it's embarrassing.'"

STATES OF REBELLION

STATES OF REBELLION

While millions of outraged Americans protest what they see as a lawless and power-mad Obama administration, many wonder how much clout individuals can really have in reining in a wildly out-of-control government.

But suppose, in addition to citizens with little power beyond their vote, those standing up to the federal government were named Virginia, Texas, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, New Hampshire, Tennessee, Montana, Maine, South Dakota – and many more?

Incredibly, though under-reported by the establishment press, that's exactly what is happening right now, as the April issue of Whistleblower documents in-depth, in "STATES OF REBELLION: How legislators and governors nationwide are openly challenging a rogue president."

A wide-ranging rebellion is indeed under way – by a large majority of states – against what they claim are intolerable and blatantly unconstitutional encroachments by the federal government. And they are seriously intent on declaring such unconstitutional laws null and void in their state.

Hey Whoopi: It's not about skin color: "Potential presidential candidate Donald Trump had to negotiate a whole lot of blind emotion as a recent guest on The View. Like Carrie Prejean, The Donald was handed a question he didn't ask for. And his answer also left the asker exasperated.

Trump's position essentially is one of 'trust but verify,' as Reagan used to say. Mr. Trump accepts Obama's claim of a Hawaii birth, but like millions of other Americans, he wonders, 'Why doesn't the president show his birth certificate?' That's what Mr. Trump wondered out loud on the program. The Donald also stated the unspeakable but obvious conclusion: Obama is hiding something."

Natural Born Citizen - A Place to Ask Questions and Get the Right Answers: Newspaper Birth Announcement Ads in 1961 in two Hawaiian Newspapers do NOT prove Obama was physically born in Hawaii: "The two announcements in the Hawaiian newspaper in 1961 only prove a birth was REGISTERED there, not that he was born there. A registration was allowed under Hawaiian law in 1961 to be made by any family member via a simple mail-in form to the state Health Department. No 3rd party or independent witnesses to the birth were required. The statement of a family member registering a new born child as born home was accepted into the registration system with little or no questions back then. Thus the family could lie and register a birth in Hawaii when it occurred elsewhere, anywhere in the world, simply to get the child U.S. citizenship, a highly coveted status then and now. The false registration was not done so he could be President some day. The false registration was done to get the new born child citizenship for that time. It was a case of birth registration fraud to illegally gain U.S. citizenship for a foreign born child of the family."

Obama may be a Citizen, but he is NOT a 'natural born Citizen' of the United States to constitutional standards.

Obama is not Article II constitutionally eligible to be the President and Commander of our military. Obama is NOT a 'natural born Citizen' to constitutional standards. Obama's father was NOT a U.S. Citizen. Obama's father was not an immigrant to the United States. Obama's father was a foreign national, a British Subject. Obama is the child of an alien father who was sojourning in the U.S. attending college. Obama was born a British Subject via his father and is still such to this day. Obama has never conclusively proved he was born in Hawaii. Obama's paternal family in Kenya, Kenyan government officials, and newspapers in Kenya say he was born in Kenya. Obama's maternal grandmother likely falsely and illegally registered him as born in Hawaii to get him, her new foreign-born grandson, U.S. Citizenship."

Oops! Obama mama passport 'destroyed'

Oops! Obama mama passport 'destroyed': "Responding to a Freedom of Information Act request, the State Department has released passport records of Stanley Ann Dunham, President Obama's mother – but records for the years surrounding Obama's 1961 birth are missing.

The State Department claims a 1980s General Services Administration directive resulted in the destruction of many passport applications and other 'nonvital' passport records, including Dunham's 1965 passport application and any other passports she may have applied for or held prior to 1965.

Destroyed, then, would also be any records shedding light on whether Dunham did or did not travel out of the country around the time of Barack Obama's birth.

The claim made in the Freedom of Information response letter that many passport records were destroyed during the 1980s comes despite a statement on the State Department website that Passport Services maintains U.S. passport records for passports issued from 1925 to the present.

The records released, however, contain interesting tidbits of new information about Obama's mother, including the odd listing of two different dates and locations for her marriage to Obama's Indonesian stepfather, Lolo Soetoro."

Obama reveals his character by withholding birth records: "Constitutional scholar and Notre Dame Law School professor emeritus, Charles Rice, takes no position on the venue of Barack Obama's birthplace in his recent piece on the eligibility question. Rice simply notes that Obama has presented inconclusive evidence and suggests that Congress should investigate using its subpoena power. 'It is fair to say,' writes Rice, 'that the Obama controversy involves significant issues of fact and law that deserve some sort of official resolution.'

Professor Rice also relays what many understand but are afraid to say:

'If it turns out that Obama knew he was ineligible when he campaigned and when he took the oath as President, it could be the biggest political fraud in the history of the world. As long as Obama refuses to disclose the records, speculation will grow and grow without any necessary relation to the truth. The first step toward resolving the issue is full discovery and disclosure of the facts.'"

Whoopi’s Most Excellent Question - The Ridiculously Simple Answer: "News sources are pulsing with reverberations about Donald Trump’s remarks on Obama’s eligibility and great and mysterious unseen long form birth certificate. Liberally biased media is showing signs of the nervous jitters with their usual “why don’t they just shut up” response.

Whether you think Mr. Trump should take a run at the presidency or not, he has to be credited for taking on the question that others are only skirting in abject fear of being labeled a conspiracy theorist, a kook or something much worse. (Can’t mention those names in this article) One thing can be safely concluded from Trump’s head on confrontational kind of approach, he’s got some guts!

In the same week that Hillary Clinton began to call Syria’s President Assad a reformer; should we be at all surprised that Donald Trump is saying that Obama may be a fraud? Which claim seems more ridiculous is not the question. The only real question is which one has more tangible proof. It is here that Mr. Obama would come up short."

They say time flies when you're having fun, and those four years sure went by real fast. Between the golfing and the legislating, the bailing out and the spending, suddenly you stop and wonder where the time went. I was just dancing the night away in sunny Rio, after committing American forces to a war that one of my advisers thought was a good idea, when suddenly it hit me and I stopped the samba and said. 'Hey Michelle, isn't it time for another one of those elections.'

I like elections myself. And if you're anything like me, you like them too. The campaigns are like this huge party that goes on for a whole year. And then when it's over, they throw you an even bigger party. There's lots of free food, you fly around on a jet plane to all the important states and everyone wants to have their picture taken with you. Some of my advisers are telling me that I might lose this one, but I don't believe that for a second. I mean how in the world could I lose?"

Obama: Expect little short-term relief on gas prices - Fall River, MA - The Herald News: "FAIRLESS HILLS, Pa. —

Pitching the promise of energy independence, President Barack Obama cautioned Wednesday that it’s going to be tough to transition from America’s oil-dependent economy and acknowledged there’s little he can do to lower gas prices over the short term.

“I’m just going to be honest with you. There’s not much we can do next week or two weeks from now,” the president told workers at a wind turbine plant. It’s a theme Obama’s struck before as he tries to show voters he’s attuned to a top economic concern with gas prices pushing toward $4 a gallon.

Obama said he wants to move toward “a future where America is less dependent on foreign oil, more reliant on clean energy produced by workers like you.” That will happen by reducing oil imports, tapping domestic energy sources and shifting the nation to renewable and less polluting sources of energy, such as wind, the president says. He has set a goal of reducing oil imports by one-third by 2025."

This is what he wanted!!
lets not forget that he actually thought $5.00 a gallon was just fine with him

Chronicle for Wednesday, April 6, 2011 - Editions - PatriotPost.US: "'Well, so much for dodging entitlements. This year's trendy complaint, shared by the left and the tea party, that Republicans hadn't tackled the toughest budget issues was blown away yesterday with the release of House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan's budget for 2012. We'll now separate the real reformers from the fiscal chickenhawks. Mr. Ryan's budget rollout is an important political and policy moment because it is the most serious attempt to reform government in at least a generation. The plan offers what voters have been saying they want -- a blueprint to address the roots of Washington's fiscal disorder."

Obama Will Carefully Court Black Votes at Sharpton Event | The Blaze

Obama Will Carefully Court Black Votes at Sharpton Event | The Blaze: "He avoids race, so the story goes. He can’t afford to alienate white voters, black people will vote for him again anyway, so he has little to gain by approaching such a volatile subject.

Yet on Wednesday, President Barack Obama is scheduled to make a foray into racial territory by speaking in New York at the Rev. Al Sharpton’s national convention — an early step on the tricky path that Obama must navigate in order to engage black voters who are crucial to his re-election.

On the one hand, there’s nothing unusual about a president fulfilling a campaign promise made to a staunch political ally whose radio show is broadcast in 40 cities each weekday. Nor is it odd for Obama, who has spoken to other civil rights groups, to connect with Sharpton, a frequent White House visitor whose fame flows from his aggressive brand of black advocacy."

Tired of violence, Mexicans ready for mass protests

Tired of violence, Mexicans ready for mass protests: "The murder of a well-known author's son in Mexico's out-of-control drug war has become a key catalyst for organizing nationwide protests set for Wednesday against crime and violence.

Juan Francisco Sicilia, 24, was found dead in a car along with four close friends on March 28 near Cuernavaca, 90 kilometers (55 miles) south of Mexico City. Police also found the bodies of two close relatives of one of Sicilia's slain friends nearby.

Police said they found a message in the car signed CDG -- the initials of the Gulf drug cartel organization.

Juan Francisco was the son of Javier Sicilia, a poet and columnist for the daily La Jornada and the weekly Proceso, two of the country's leading publications.

The senior Sicilia was out of the country at the time of the killings, and called for the protests as soon as he returned to Mexico."

AFP: Cuba to drill five new oil wells by 2013: "HAVANA — Cuba on Tuesday announced plans to drill five deepwater oil wells in the Gulf of Mexico beginning this summer, expressing confidence that its efforts will be rewarded with major new energy finds.

'We're about to move to the drilling phase,' said Manuel Marrero, an official with the government authority tasked with overseeing Cuba's oil sector.

'We're all really hopeful that we will be able to discover large reserves of oil and gas,' said Marrero, who added that the ventures would be undertaken with the help of unspecified foreign companies.

He said the deepwater wells were to be drilled between 2011 and 2013, and would be in waters ranging in depth between 400 meters (a quarter mile) and 1,500 meters (1.6 miles). He did not specify which countries would be among the foreign partners working with Havana on the project.

Some studies estimate Cuba has probable reserves of between five and nine billion barrels of oil in its economic zone in the Gulf of Mexico. Cuban authorities have said their crude reserves are as high as 20 billion barrels."

Obama’s Cousin Odinga Clears Way to Presidency By Turning Opponents Over to International Court | The Gateway Pundit

Yup. You can tell they’re cousins.
Obama’s cousin Odinga likes to clean the slate too.

In 2006 Barack Obama took a trip to Kenya on the taxpayer’s dime.

While visiting Kenya as a guest of the government Obama campaigned for socialist Raila Odinga, who claims he is Obama’s cousin.

Odinga’s opponents said Odinga was using Obama “as his stooge.”
Here’s the video:

Later Odinga was accused of starting genocide after the the death toll from tribal violence over a disputed 2007 election passed 1,000.

Now Odinga is clearing the way for an easy election win in 2012.
Seattle PI reported:

Six Kenyans must report to The Hague on Thursday for preliminary proceedings over charges of crimes against humanity. More than 1,000 Kenyans died and 600,000 were forced from their homes during the violence in late 2007 and early 2008.

Two of the six — Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and former Higher Education Minister William Ruto — have held several rallies in recent weeks, including an afternoon of speeches before thousands on Monday in the town of Gatundu, a region full of Uhuru supporters…

Morning Bell: Showdown Over A Shutdown | The Foundry: Conservative Policy News.: "It has been more than 40 days since the House passed a budget for 2011, cutting spending by $61 billion. The task was left undone by the previous Democrat-controlled Congress, the first time since 1974, an embarrassing feat for a body charged with holding the purse strings. Today that task remains incomplete, and the moment until a partial government shutdown is growing near, easily measured in hours, not days. It’s time for action and leadership, not press conferences and finger pointing.

But yesterday a press conference is exactly what we got. Following a joint meeting among President Barack Obama, Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) and Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) in which no agreement on the budget was reached, the president appeared before the media. His message? He shouldn’t have to shepherd this process through Congress; in other words, he shouldn’t have to lead:"

BBC News - Surgeons raise alarm over waiting: "Surgeons say patients in some parts of England have spent months waiting in pain because of delayed operations or new restrictions on who qualifies for treatment.

In several areas routine surgery was put on hold for months, while in many others new thresholds for hip and knee replacements have been introduced.

The moves are part of the NHS drive to find £20bn efficiency savings by 2015.

The government said performance should be measured by outcomes not numbers.

Surgeons have described the delays faced by patients as 'devastating and cruel'. Peter Kay, the president of the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA), says they've become increasingly frustrated that hip and knee replacements are being targeted as a way of finding savings.

'We've started to get reports over the last nine months that access to these services are being restricted."

Obama vs. the Bushes: Comparing Costs and Coalitions from Libya to Iraq - Paul Kengor - Townhall Conservative

Obama vs. the Bushes: Comparing Costs and Coalitions from Libya to Iraq - Paul Kengor - Townhall Conservative

The Libya situation is complicated. I envy no president stuck with the task. Among the complexities, the most daunting unknown is what’s behind the opposition. We would all like to see Moammar Gaddafi tossed to the ash-heap of history, but the rub is who, or what, would replace him. What a tragedy it would be if America intervened only to see Gaddafi replaced by an Ayatollah.

President Obama has a tough situation in Libya. I was more certain about what to do with Saddam, in 1990-91 and 2003, under two presidents named Bush, than Libya now.

That said, it’s disappointing to see liberals rally behind Obama in Libya in a way they refused under the Bushes in Iraq. I won’t go through all the maddening double standards, but there are two that really struck me after President Obama’s speech on Libya, and seem to mount by the minute, namely: coalition size and cost.

President Obama stressed that America has not “acted alone” in Libya, and is joined by a “broad coalition,” a “strong and growing coalition.” He named 11 countries: the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Denmark, Norway, Italy, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.

Obama used the word “cost” several times. He assured us that “real leadership” meant working “with allies and partners so that they bear their share of the burden and pay their share of the costs.” He gave no numbers.

Now, these were two areas—coalition and cost—where the American Left vilified both Bushes, especially George W. Bush, literally accusing him of acting “unilaterally” in Iraq in 2003. The accusations were outrageously, irresponsibly absurd. And yet, when comparing Obama to the Bushes here, Obama falls way short.

The woman is Catherine Lennon and she fell behind in mortgage payments after her husband died. It’s a sad state of affairs but it happens. Continuing Resolution Obama | No policy riders, no-one week continuing resolution | The Daily Caller - Breaking News, Opinion, Research, and Entertainment: "Beyond political posturing to lay blame for a potential government shutdown, the key takeaways from President Obama’s press conference on the continuing resolution (CR) negotiations were these: The president suggested he will not support any policy riders in the bill and won’t support a one-week CR introduced by the GOP to delay a shutdown if talks fail.

The Republican-passed CR includes a slew of policy riders that would defund Obamacare, EPA regulations, Planned Parenthood and National Public Radio, among other things.

Obama said “What we can’t be doing is using last year’s budget process to have arguments about abortion; to have arguments about the Environmental Protection Agency; to try to use this budget negotiation as a vehicle for every ideological or political difference between the two parties. NRA-ILA :: Schumer Bill Includes Steps Toward Federal Gun Registration . . . And More

NRA-ILA :: Schumer Bill Includes Steps Toward Federal Gun Registration . . . And More: "Recently, Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) -- who in the early 1990s was the House sponsor of the Brady Act and the federal 'assault weapons' and 'large' magazine ban of 1994-2004, and the ill-fated, everything-but-the-kitchen-sink 'Brady II' bill -- introduced S. 436, the multi-faceted 'Fix Gun Checks Act of 2011.' Its simplistic and misleading title aside, this bill dispels any doubt about the goal gun control supporters have had in mind ever since they began harping about 'closing the gun show loophole' more than a decade ago.

Schumer's 'fix' bypasses the question of gun shows altogether. In fact, the term 'gun show' appears nowhere in his bill. S. 436 proposes that virtually all private transfers, regardless of location, be subject to National Instant Criminal Background Check System checks. The exceptions would be extremely narrow; in many cases, even lending someone a firearm would be subject to federal regulation."

"Bloomberg Thinks He's Stopping People from Smoking": "Yesterday the New York Times ran an instructive piece detailing the correlation between high tobacco taxes and vibrant black markets:

Itinerant cigarette vendors have long been a fixture in some parts of the city, like bodegas that sell individual cigarettes in violation of state law. But with cigarette prices up and the number of smoke-friendly places down, the black market for loosies is now thriving on the streets.

The administration of Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg has outlawed smoking in restaurants, bars and playgrounds, and outside hospital entrances. Even city parks, beaches and pedestrian plazas are now off limits to smokers. Then there have been successive rounds of taxes — the most recent one, a $1.60 rise in the state tax in July — that raised the price of a pack of cigarettes to $12.50 at many Midtown newsstands.

“The tax went up, and we started selling 10 times as much,” Mr. Warner said. “Bloomberg thinks he’s stopping people from smoking. He’s just turning them onto loosies.”

For the squares reading the ATR blog, 'loosies' are loose cigarettes sold separate from a full pack."

During the entire 2008 campaign, Scarborough says, he had to sit and listen as panelists described George Bush and Dick Cheney as “evil” for their detention policies, fueled by the candidate who has adopted them practically in toto. Obama owes an apology to the American people, Scarborough says, and perhaps he owes apologies to two in particular:"

Hawaii senator wonders what Obama's hiding

Hawaii senator wonders what Obama's hiding: "The lone Republican in the Hawaii State Senate was interviewed on the radio this morning, explaining that while believes Barack Obama was born in the Aloha State, he questions what might be on the original, long-form birth certificate that would prompt the president to go to such lengths to conceal it.

'I'm not a 'birther,'' Hawaii State Sen. Sam Slom told Jeff Katz of WXKS Radio in Boston, 'and I followed this from the very beginning. At first I followed it with amusement, and then I got really concerned about it, because the question was if it was not just the birth certificate, but other records as well – school records, academic records, work records – why would anyone spend millions of dollars in legal fees, particularly someone in public office, particularly someone in the highest public office, to not make that information public?'

As WND has reported, besides Obama's actual birth documentation, the president has refused to release his Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, files from his years as an Illinois state senator, Illinois State Bar Association records, baptism records and his adoption records."

Most Illegal Immigrant Families Collect Welfare | Judicial Watch

Most Illegal Immigrant Families Collect Welfare | Judicial Watch: "Surprise, surprise; Census Bureau data reveals that most U.S. families headed by illegal immigrants use taxpayer-funded welfare programs on behalf of their American-born anchor babies.

Even before the recession, immigrant households with children used welfare programs at consistently higher rates than natives, according to the extensive census data collected and analyzed by a nonpartisan Washington D.C. group dedicated to researching legal and illegal immigration in the U.S. The results, published this month in a lengthy report, are hardly surprising.

Basically, the majority of households across the country benefitting from publicly-funded welfare programs are headed by immigrants, both legal and illegal. States where immigrant households with children have the highest welfare use rates are Arizona (62%), Texas, California and New York with 61% each and Pennsylvania (59%)."

Memo suggests FBI had mole inside ABC News in 1990s - The Center for Public Integrity

The journalist, whose name is not disclosed in the document labeled “secret,” not only cooperated but provided the identity of a confidential source, according to the FBI memo — a possible breach of journalistic ethics if he or she did not have the source’s permission.

The ABC employee was even assigned a number in the FBI’s informant database, indicating he or she was still being vetted for suitability as a snitch after providing “highly accurate and reliable information in the past” and then revealing information the network had obtained in the hours just after the 1995 terrorist attack by Timothy McVeigh."

A Donald Trump-Mitt Romney showdown in New Hampshire - Kasie Hunt - POLITICO.com

A Donald Trump-Mitt Romney showdown in New Hampshire - Kasie Hunt - POLITICO.com: "Looks like Donald Trump's win-the-birthers strategy is working in New Hampshire — and that’s coming at the expense of front-runner Mitt Romney.

Romney leads the first-in-the-nation primary contest in a multitude of scenarios involving difference candidates, often by as much as a 2-1 margin, according to a survey out Tuesday from Public Policy Polling. But when Trump gets into the race, Romney’s edge shrinks to 6 points, 27 percent to 21 percent."
