A Direct Challenge to the U.S. Secret Service
When is the U.S. Secret Service going to investigate to find out who made and put the forged long form birth certificate PDF document regarding Barack Obama onto the White House servers on 27 April 2011 instead of investigating SSgt Daryn Moran?
After all, the Secret Service has the experts in their organization for investigation of forged items. They are charged with investigation counterfeiters, are they not? They have the perfect tools and skilled experts to investigate and find out who was the person who made the forged PDF file long form birth certificate and who placed it on the White House servers on 27 April 2011.

Obama the Divider « Commentary Magazine
It’s not unusual, of course, for the policies of presidents to divide the nation. And politicians running for re-election often highlight differences. But Obama now belongs in a separate category. Each day, it seems, he and/or his supporters are seeking to divide us. The rhetoric employed by the president and his allies is meant to fan the flames of resentment, to turn Americans against one another, and to stoke up feelings of envy, grievances, and rage.

The Ulsterman Report – Democrats In Senate Ignore Obama Once Again - The Ulsterman Report
With increasing worries of a 2012 Election Day landslide that will not be to their liking, Senate Democrats are all but ignoring President Barack Obama’s now infamous “Pass this bill now!” jobs bill proposal that called for, among other Big Government things, raising taxes on those making more than $200,000 per year – an amount that hardly compliments the president’s repeated assault on the so-called “wealthiest Americans”.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (Yes reader – the Democrats continue to control the Senate – a fact Barack Obama seems to repeatedly ignore when he speaks about a “Do nothing” Congress) quickly tabled the Obama jobs proposal, while no other Democrats volunteered to sponsor the bill. It has simply sat legislative limbo due in great part to the fact the bill was yet another mishmash of far-left class warfare liberalism and Big Government deficit spending that left many Senate Democrats not wishing to be associated with such things so close to their own re-election campaigns.

DRUDGE REPORT 2012®: GE HEAD CALLS FOR LOWER CORP TAXES; BUT GE PAID ZERO!
The corporate titan President Obama picked to help create millions of new jobs thinks lowering corporate taxes and eliminating all tax loopholes for U.S. companies will put more Americans to work. General Electric Chairman Jeff Immelt sits down with Lesley Stahl to discuss the creation of jobs, the U.S. business climate and his own company, General Electric, in a 60 MINUTES segment to be broadcast Sunday, Oct. 9 (7:00-8:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
General Electric makes 60 percent of its profit overseas, where the corporate taxes are lower than in the U.S. Immelt thinks the U.S. needs to follow suit. “I think we should have basically the same tax policy that Germany, Japan, the UK – everybody else has, which is a tax rate in the mid-20s and no loopholes. Zero,” he tells Stahl. “The U.S. has the most antiquated tax system. And that means some people are going to pay more taxes, and some people are going to pay less,” Immelt says.
But GE paid NO TAXES on $5 billion in profits last year!
Pressed by Stahl about whether this move would actually translate to American Jobs, Immelt admits the strategy is up for debate, but, “Personally, I think [lowering taxes] will create jobs.” Reminded that American corporations are sitting on piles of cash and that giving them more may be questionable, Immelt says, “Companies should invest in the United States. It’s still the world’s biggest economy. And if companies just are going to sit on cash, they’re going to lose,” he tells Stahl. “Because only the people that are going to invest their way through this crisis are going to win.”
It is also particularly important that the government focus all it efforts on creating jobs, says Immelt, because it’s not doing so now. “I think, Lesley, there needs to be a sense of national urgency around jobs…If you just looked at how many hours a day do Republicans spend on job creation, do Democrats spend on job creation, and does the White House. It’s no where close to 100 percent,” he says. “We’re not spending enough time on jobs.”

"I believe we are an exceptional country with a unique destiny and role in the world," Romney said, with an audience of cadets sitting behind him. In Barack Obama’s profoundly mistaken view, there is nothing unique about the United States."
Romney criticized the president on cutting the defense budget, as well. "I will reverse President Obama’s massive defense cuts," he said. "I will begin reversing Obama-era cuts to national missile defense and prioritize the full deployment of a multilayered national ballistic missile defense system."
In his closing argument, Romney contrasted his vision of America's role in the world with that of Obama. "I will not surrender America’s role in the world," he said. "This is very simple. If you do not want America to be the strongest nation on Earth, I am not your president. You have that president today." The cadets appluaded.

The virus, first detected nearly two weeks ago by the military’s Host-Based Security System, has not prevented pilots at Creech Air Force Base in Nevada from flying their missions overseas. Nor have there been any confirmed incidents of classified information being lost or sent to an outside source. But the virus has resisted multiple efforts to remove it from Creech’s computers, network security specialists say. And the infection underscores the ongoing security risks in what has become the U.S. military’s most important weapons system.
“We keep wiping it off, and it keeps coming back,” says a source familiar with the network infection, one of three that told Danger Room about the virus. “We think it’s benign. But we just don’t know.”

O’Donnell and Cain talked about so much more, as well, from a passage in Cain’s book where he describes “staying out of trouble” rather than directly participate in the civil rights movement, to Cain’s military service. O’Donnell, in fact, openly admonished Cain for his lack of participation in the movement — which, obviously, did not sit well with Cain one bit. “Did you expect every black student and every black college in America to be out there in the middle of every fight? The answer is no.”

GOP belief in free markets will be put to the test | Campaign 2012
This monument to the Senate majority leader was not subsidized through some earmark Reid stuck in an appropriations bill. The $2 million grant came through a little-known part of the Commerce Department known as the Economic Development Administration. As Republicans assert that this time they are serious about cutting spending, killing a corporate welfare agency and pork machine like the EDA would be a great start.
Freshman Rep. Mike Pompeo, R-Kan., has introduced the EDA Elimination Act of 2011. In the upper chamber, conservative Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., proposed a similar measure. While EDA is relatively small and nearly unknown, Pompeo sees this as a crucial fight. He calls the EDA "pure redistribution" and the prime example of how federal involvement in the economy allocates wealth "by political processes rather than market processes."

News from The Associated Press - Obama to GOP: Act on jobs or get run out of town
WASHINGTON (AP) -- A combative President Barack Obama challenged a divided Congress on Thursday to unite behind his jobs bill or get ready to be run "out of town" by angry voters. Hoping to use public frustration and economic worry as leverage, he called his proposal an insurance plan against a painful return to recession.
In a news conference long on restatements of his ideas, Obama laid bare the dynamic that now is Washington: The era of compromise is over.
Frustrated over getting nowhere with Republicans, Obama demanded that they explain themselves to the country and promised to keep "hammering way until something gets done."

Reid's ‘nuclear option’ changes rules, ends repeat filibusters - TheHill.com
The Democratic leader had become fed up with Republican demands for votes on motions to suspend the rules after the Senate had voted to end a filibuster.
Reid said these motions, which do not need unanimous consent, amount to a second-round filibuster after the Senate has voted to move to final passage of a measure.

World facing worst financial crisis in history, Bank of England Governor says - Telegraph
Economists said the Bank’s decision to resume its quantitative easing [QE], or asset purchase programme, showed it was increasingly fearful for the economy, and predicted more such moves ahead.
Sir Mervyn said the Bank had been driven by growing signs of a global economic disaster.
“This is the most serious financial crisis we’ve seen, at least since the 1930s, if not ever. We’re having to deal with very unusual circumstances, but to act calmly to this and to do the right thing.”

Pelosi on Occupy Wall Street Protesters: "God bless them" | The Weekly Standard
During a press conference Thursday afternoon, House minority leader Nancy Pelosi praised those participating in the "Occupy Wall Street" protests. "God bless them," Pelosi said, "for their spontaneity. It's independent ... it's young, it's spontaneous, and it's focused. And it's going to be effective."

Nate Beeler / Clarity Media
"The message of the protesters is a message for the establishment everyplace," said the House Democrats' leader. "No longer will the recklessness of some on Wall Street cause massive joblessness on Main Street."
Pelosi did not comment on--and was not asked about--the law-breaking that occurred during the protest over the weekend. About 700 protesters were arrested by New York City police after the protesters "swarmed the Brooklyn Bridge and shut down a lane of traffic for several hours," according to CBS News.

NewMediaJournal: ‘Occupy Wall Street’ Protesters, Union Members Turn Violent
Police said late Wednesday that 28 people were arrested during the march, mostly for disorderly conduct, the New York Post reports. One police officer suffered minor injuries...
At one point, protesters were reportedly Maced and threatened with police batons when about 150 marchers demanded access to Wall Street from Broadway.
The protests against corporate America are expected to spread to New Jersey on Thursday as a show of solidarity with demonstrations that started last month outside the New York Stock Exchange. Rallies are planned at the Statehouse in Trenton and in Jersey City. Protesters are expected to call for an end of corporate control of government, starting at 2pm.

Democrats: $250K isn't rich - POLITICO.com Print View
That figure — $250,000 for a household — has been at the tip of the tongue of so many Democratic candidates and lawmakers in the past few elections that it’s become ingrained in the party’s tax philosophy. But they’ve taken a beating from Republicans and have grown increasingly divided on the issue, since that income level would not only cause tax increases for some small businesses but also hit upper-middle-class suburban voters in swing states.
So Democrats on Capitol Hill and the White House are settling on an easier sales pitch: Tax the millionaires, believing that public opinion is firmly on their side that the truly rich should pony up more cash as the economy struggles and the national debt continues to grow.

NewMediaJournal: Social Security Disaster
The term was derived from the scheme created during the 1920s by Charles Ponzi, a poor but enterprising Italian immigrant. Here's how it works. You persuade some people to give you their money to invest. After a while, you pay them a nice return, but the return doesn't come from investments. What you pay them with comes from the money of other people whom you've persuaded to "invest" in your scheme. The scheme works so long as you can persuade greater and greater numbers of people to "invest" so that you can pay off earlier "investors." After a while, Ponzi couldn't find enough new investors, and his scheme collapsed. He was convicted of fraud and sent to prison.

Stop Liberal Lies - Michelle Obama’s taxpayer-funded spending is an embarrassment for the White House
Michelle Obama’s taxpayer-funded spending is an embarrassment for the White House
Although ignored by most of America’s liberal-dominated media, several online US news sites are reporting that Michelle Obama’s grand tour of southern Africa earlier this year cost American taxpayers nearly half a million dollars – and that’s just for the flights. This follows in the wake ofclaims this August from sources inside the White House itself that the First Lady may have spent “$10 million of taxpayers’ money on vacations alone in the past year.” Without all the figures available, it is impossible to establish the total cost to the public purse of Michelle Obama’s 42 days of holiday during that period, which included her trip to Spain last year (though not the Obamas’ recent sojourn in Martha’s Vineyard).
But we do now know for sure that her visit to Africa in June, with a sizeable entourage in tow, cost taxpayers at the very minimum $424,142 in transportation costs, according to figures obtained by Washington-based watchdog Judicial Watch. As the ‘Washington Whispers’ blog atUS News and World Report noted:

Meet the Obama link to Wall Street terror
WND was first to report Lerner was the brain behind some of the economic protest templates being used by the Occupy Wall Street campaign.
Lerner recently laid out a mass economic protest plan intended to bring down the stock market, and boasted his plan could be used to cause a new financial crisis. His ideology prompted some conservative critics to go so far as to label him an economic terrorist.
Writing in the Washington Post on Tuesday, columnist Harold Meyerson, the vice-chair of Democratic Socialists of America, quoted Lerner describing how a coalition is fomenting the current economic protests.
