Romney's Big Speech: It’s Still About The Economy …and We’re Not Stupid.

Romney's Big Speech: It’s Still About The Economy …and We’re Not Stupid.: Mitt Romney will declare victory himself to be the Republican Party's nominee in a much-anticipated speech in Manchester, New Hampshire headlined "A Better America Begins Tonight."

According to excerpts released by the Romney campaign, the former Massachusetts governor will try to define the 2012 election as a referendum on whether voters are better off than they were four years ago.

"It’s still about the economy …and we’re not stupid," Romney will say.

Romney will also seek to reclaim the message of "fairness" from President Barack Obama, framing Obama as someone who blames people for their success.
