Poll: 1/3 of Americans, Majority of Republicans Want Obama Impeached: A majority of Republicans and one-third of Americans believe President Barack Obama should be impeached.
A CNN poll released on Friday also found that a plurality of Americans (45%) believe that Obama has "gone too far" in expanding the power of the presidency. In that poll, 57% of Republicans felt Obama should be impeached. Other national polls have found that two-thirds of Republicans believe impeachment is justified.
