2 kids, 2 women still held hostage in Harvey - Chicago Tribune: A standoff that began midday Tuesday when a Harvey police officer was shot continues this morning, with two suspects still barricaded inside a home and holding two children and two women hostage, authorities said.
The suspects had been holding four other children, boys between the ages of 1 and 11, but they were released safe throughout the day Tuesday, authorities said. The last of the four, one of two 1-year-olds, was taken by law enforcement from the home late Tuesday.
