Cuomo: New York should prepare for terrorist retaliation | Capital New York: ALBANY—Governor Andrew Cuomo said Thursday he is working to shore up security and emergency preparedness in case terrorists in the Middle East target New York.
Cuomo said New York should be prepared for potential terrorist attacks in light of President Obama’s announcement Wednesday that the U.S. would take military action against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.
Cuomo and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie announced on Thursday a bi-state task force they formed to combat terrorism.
