Cops hunt 3 suspects in shooting of Illinois police officer | Fox News: A massive manhunt is on in an Illinois suburb after a police officer was shot Tuesday morning.
The officer, who has not yet been identified, has died of his injuries, according to multiple media reports. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office has scheduled a press conference for 11:30 a.m.
Police are searching for two armed people, according to NBC5. Cops believe a third suspect, possibly a female, could be involved. Police were looking for a white male and a black male, CBS Chicago reported.
