Liberals eat their own: Bernie Sanders accused of normalizing Trump - Red Alert Politics: In an effort to resist the new Trump administration, progressives are condemning anyone willing to work or praise the President — even when it’s a policy matter they agree on.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) has become the latest target in the far left’s reign of terror for claiming that he plans on working with the Trump administration on trade and infrastructure spending. His praise of the President for killing the Trans-Pacific Partnership and voting for Gen. Mattis for Secretary of Defense and Gen. Kelly for Secretary of Homeland Security is driving many liberals off a cliff.
Progressive activists slammed Sanders on Twitter, claiming he is normalizing President Trump. They even said he was responsible for Hillary Clinton losing the election and charged that he’s racist.
