“Still NO Evidence” Intelligence Chairman on Trump-Russia Connection: Devin Nunes, White House Intelligence Committee Chairman, said on Monday that lawmakers should not begin a McCarthy-style investigation based on a couple of news reports from the media. He then continued to explain by asserting that he has not seen any evidence that the Trump campaign has had any contact with Russian officials. He actively inquired after evidence and says, so far, there is none to be found. He does not know who the New York Times’ anonymous sources are, but he has not found any hints of interaction between the workers of Trump’s campaign and Russian intelligence officials.
What there is evidence of is New York Times intentionally misleading readers by misquoting President Trump and relying too much on anonymous sources.
