Dusseldorf axe attack: Seven injured after man, 36, with mental health problems attacks passengers at random in train station - Mirror Online: Seven people were injured after a man armed with an axe went on the rampage at a train station in Germany.

Emergency services, including anti-terror police, flooded the central station in Dusseldorf following the shocking incident on Thursday evening.

Gruesome footage from the scene showed two people being treated by medics on the floor of the station amid pools of blood.

One witness suggested the attacker leapt from a train after it pulled into the station and began attacking people at random.
