(2nd LD) N. Korea threatens 'physical' actions over new U.N. sanctions: North Korea threatened Tuesday to take "physical" actions in response to the United Nations Security Council's adoption of a new sanctions resolution, calling it a U.S.-led terrorist act against Pyongyang.

The warning by the North's Korea Asia-Pacific Peace Committee came one day after North Korea's government rejected the U.N. sanctions over its long-range missile tests and vowed retaliation against Washington "thousands of times."
