NRA-ILA | Let Your Congress Members Know that You Support the Hearing Protection Act: As we’ve previously covered a number of times, the Hearing Protection Act (HPA) is a federal bill to reduce the burdensome and antiquated acquisition process for firearm suppressors. The bill would eliminate the excessive wait times (sometimes as long as a year) and the burdensome tax on transferring or making a suppressor.
Support for the HPA among gun owners remains very strong. The HPA has been one of the most viewed bills on Congress.gov since its introduction in January, and it has regularly been the most popular bill on the site. But, now more than ever, Congress needs to hear this support.
