Matt Gaetz, R-Florida, slammed House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler’s passage of the “Resolution for Investigative Proceedings.” The resolution, which changes the rules of the Judiciary Committee, is the first step in the Democrats push for impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump.
The resolution covers “an investigation to determine whether to recommend articles of impeachment with respect to President Donald J. Trump.”
Gaetz’s fought back Thursday. He compared the Democrats’ efforts to “impeachment in drag,” and “low-T impeachment.”
