Further, many reporters were quick to report that Amb. Sondland’s testimony confirmed President Donald Trump’s alleged quid-pro-quo deal with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky however, later questioning revealed that Amb. Sondland clarified those earlier statements.
