Nassau Police Commissioner Urges Albany To Rethink Bail Law | WCBS Newsradio 880: The Nassau County Police Commissioner is not happy with the new bail reform law recently enacted throughout New York State.

The new bail reform law took effect on New Year’s Day, meaning thousands of low-level, non-violent offenders were released from jails throughout the state.

In Nassau County, Commissioner Patrick Ryder says at least three people who were released under the new law have been arrested again – including one man who committed six burglaries.
