Peekskill man accused of breaking into home, requesting money fr: Police say a suspected burglar who was arrested and released without bail barely made it out of the police station before committing another crime.
They say Jonathan Martin, 27, of Peekskill broke into a home on Seymour Lane by forcing his way inside. Police say Martin then made his way into one of the bedrooms, where he requested money from a teenager.
The victim was able to get away and call police. Martin was arrested at the scene.
Police say during his arrest, officers found a coin purse that was stolen from a car on nearby Highland Avenue the same night.
