Ricky Gervais Only Said What we all Were Thinking – DB DAILY UPDATE: Ricky Gervais has had a nice, long career and obviously doesn’t care if he never works in Hollywood again. That became evident Sunday evening when, while serving as host of the Golden Globe Awards ceremony, he gave the pedophiles and financial exploiters in the nation’s most depraved and despicable community a tongue-lashing of a completely different sort than most of them have become accustomed to, if you know what I mean.
Early in Gervais’s monologue, he said this:
