Former Tulsa police officer pleads guilty to buying firearm for boyfriend | KTUL: A former Tulsa police officer pleaded guilty in federal court today for lying to a firearms dealer and buying a gun for her boyfriend. Latoya Dythe, 26, appeared before a judge today to change her initial plea of not guilty to guilty. Acting U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson said Dythe, in a written plea agreement, admitted to walking into the Broken Arrow Bass Pro Shop to purchase the firearm for her boyfriend after he gave her money. On a required form for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, she answered "yes" to the question asking if she was the individual purchasing the gun.
