I agree wholeheartedly with this assessment of the report. Please read for your own understanding.
We are not safer today because of terrorists being destabilized as stated in the report. If anything they seek to regain their stabilization and standing by unprecedented and shocking acts.
In order to shock and terrorize they would need to attack us in a way that makes 9/11 look petty and normal. Can they achieve this with their numbers dwindled and chain of command fragmented here inthe USA.
The answer is an unqualified YES. They can still shock America and her sensibilities with one day that will make 9/11 pale in comparison.
