Bush grants federal aid for Obama inauguration: "President Bush declared a state of emergency in the District of Columbia today and ordered the use of federal funds for Barack Obama's inauguration.
'An emergency exists in the District of Columbia,' White House press secretary Dana Perino said in a statement.
In the next week, as many as 2 million people are expected to travel to the area from all over the world to see Obama become the 44th president of the United States."
Got to have a big blow out for the inauguration don't we? It is so serious that Obama has been hitting his donors up for months now for it. Yet the federal government has to declare a state of emergency for his inauguration. He is costing taxpayers money hand over fist and he isnt even in office yet!
