House Passes Stimulus Plan Despite G.O.P. Opposition - NYTimes.com: "WASHINGTON — Without a single Republican vote, President Obama won House approval on Wednesday for an $819 billion economic recovery plan as Congressional Democrats sought to temper their own differences over the enormous package of tax cuts and spending."
There is no longer any check and balance in our government. There is no way to stop a renegade Congress that has a 9% approval rating from doing whatever they want regardless of what the people want.
