The Right Side of Life » Congress Certifies Barack Hussein Obama as America’s 44th President-Elect: "A joint session of Congress certified the election of Barack Obama as President of the United States and Joseph Biden as Vice President. The electoral vote total was 365 electoral votes for Pres.-Elect Obama and Vice Pres.-Elect Biden and 173 electoral votes for Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) and Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK). Vice President Dick Cheney announced the results."
