Simon Tisdall: Barack Obama's silence on Gaza is damaging his reputation | World news | guardian.co.uk: "'I will make clear that we are not at war with Islam, that we will stand with those who are willing to stand up for their future, and that we need their effort to defeat the prophets of hate and violence,'" OBAMA on his campaign trail.

I really don't wonder why Obama has made no condemnation of Hamas or made a public statement that he supports current policy of the U.S. to aid Israel in it's quest for sovereignty. He has made many statements as President elect on many issues from energy, economy, spending and taxation. yet on this he is very quiet.

His primary supporters of Code Pink have begun to push him into supporting Palestine already. They contributed much money and ground support to his election. If he wants to be re-elected he will certainly have to bow to them and give into their demands.
