OBAMA'S FUZZY TAX MATH - New York Post: "So while the president has promised that families making less than $250,000 a year won't see their taxes go up 'a dime,' don't hold your breath.
Now, it's true that the average worker will get $13 a week this year from the stimulus plan, dropping to $8 next year.
But how does that stack up against the Bush tax relief that Americans are likely to lose? Do the math: This year, the Bush tax cuts should save Americans an estimated $205 billion. Divide that by 142 million workers and it averages $27 a week in every pocket."
The power of Obama to memorize the masses with the word CHANGE. Americans think that the rich should be taxed more, so that is what he is doing. But he promises not to tax anyone making less than $250,00 .. well that is true, he won't tax you more, he will just stop giving you back money you have used to help yourselves.
Is it a tax no, it is relief that people were getting that they will no longer get. So if you gotmoney back from taxes in the past, you won't be getting as much back anymore. Now don't you feel great about following this socialist?
