Obama says he doesn't have 'rubber-stamp Senate' - CNN.com: "(CNN) -- President Obama said Wednesday that he's under no illusions that he'll have a 'rubber-stamp Senate' now that Sen. Arlen Specter has switched parties to join the Democrats.

'To my Republican friends, I want them to realize that me reaching out to them has been genuine,' Obama said at a prime time news conference capping his 100th day in office.

'I can't sort of define bipartisanship as simply being willing to accept certain theories of theirs that we tried for eight years and didn't work and the American people voted to change.'"


Mr. Obama should realize that no one is very happy with his "change" his numbers reflect that the US population is not behind him on his ideas and that he is far too radical in his big government ideas. That he spends far too much money and he has not even started doing the things that must now be done to pay for all of it like taxing us and making us all pay for his plans through more price increases on energy in all forms. He is not working with the congress on the right and has stated clearly
"I won" when confronted with things that he did not agree with. This will not be forgotten!

He has been a whirlwind in office making changes that he knows he would never get through after the political honeymoon is over. Soon enough he will worry about re-election and then his legacy.
here is my prediction that is more stable than the banks.

He will be blasted out of office following his congress who will be swept aside for some real change in 2010.
His legacy will be that of a man who manipulated people by telling them what they wanted to hear, that he was the worst president in history.

When he leaves the next president will reign over a very conservative congress and roll back 90% of what Obama is doing now.

Lastly, thankfully because he has opened the can of worms of releasing memos from the previous administration, made the prospect of prosecution available and declassified so much so fast that he in turn will be investigated when he leaves.

He will eventually be branded as a traitor to the country for not even having produced a birth certificate and perhaps prosecuted for his duplicity to achieve his position.
