Rasmussen Reports 60% - 27% Americans reject health care

Rasmussen Reports™: The Most Comprehensive Public Opinion Data Anywhere: "Americans are evenly divided over the idea of making free health care available to every one in the country, but opposition grows dramatically when their own health insurance is involved.

Forty-two percent (42%) of Americans say every one in the United States should have free health care. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 44% disagree.

However, by a two-to-one margin (60% to 27%), Americans reject free health care for all if it means changing their own coverage and joining a program administered by the government. Many surveys, conducted over many years have found a similar unwillingness to support any program that requires a change in coverage. Last December, 58% opposed any kind of government-controlled health plan if it meant they had to change their own insurance coverage. "

That resistance to change is partly explained by the fact that 70% of those with insurance rate their own coverage as good or excellent. Most adults (53%) believe their coverage would get worse if they had to change to a government-run program.


Of course if the government is involved they will make provisions for all people on any insurance programs as they already do for Medicare.

So who will be insured? Well Aliens of course, so imagine how many aliens were questioned in this poll. Where do you think the real numbers lie now?

This is EXACTLY why it is so important for Obama to move the census bureau to the white house under his direct control. So he can have numbers meet his standards and give and take where he sees fit. ACORN who Obama was a community organizer for is one of the agencies who will be taking the census. They are currently charged in 22 states for voter registration fraud. They made false registrations during the presidential election and many have plead guilty now. That agency who advocates making up people to vote is the same agency who will be counting persons for the census?

This whole thing is right out of control.

Call your congressman and senator and oppose government health care. There has to be a better way to allow private insurers to have national access to customers. Promote better coverage at more affordable rates through open market competition. Everybody wins that way, just not the government!

The events of the last few weeks have raised the odds that a health-care overhaul will really happen this year.

Democrats have suggested that they are willing to play hardball and pass a bill without Republican support.

Yet none of these developments has removed the main hurdle to health-care reform: the matter of the missing $90 billion.

Providing health insurance to the roughly 50 million people without it will cost something like $120 billion a year. President Barack Obama has proposed $60 billion or so in new revenue for this purpose -- a "down payment," his advisers say. But Congress seems set to reject about half of the down payment (a plan to limit high-income families' tax deductions for charitable giving and other such things). That makes for the $90 billion health-care hole.

This is going to bankrupt our country people. We CAN NOT AFFORD THIS.

What will happen is higher taxes in every form from income tax, to taxation on everything from clothing, , gasoline, property, new automobiles, luxury items down to the necessities of hygiene products and food. If you think that your paycheck is stretched now wait till you have to pay health care in the form of approximately 1/3 of your own pay as other socialist countries do for their health care.

Now lets add in one more very simple yet inexcusable item, these countries can not afford to give people th health care that is already available to most people here in the United States today. It can not be afforded. They have rationed health care. This is the model that we are following right now with the Obama plan.

Let me rephrase that one more time. Most of us lose about 1/3 of our income to taxes now in State, federal and Social Security benefits. You must add health care into the end result of that which will be about 1/3 after taxes. In essence you will no longer be paying 1/3 of your pay into taxes, it will be 2/3! AND you will be on rationed health care under government regulation.

Once it is done, it will be near imposable to turn it back and stop. It must be stopped NOW!

There is NOTHING FREE about FREE HEALTH CARE!
