Certainly everyone wants health care to be affordable and for every one to be able to enjoy good health care. But this is nothing but politics for Obama and the congress, both republican and democrats.
What Americans need now is to be able to think clearly and be given the proper information of the health care situation, possible solutions and the end results of the legislations.
Remember when Obama was running for office, he said that anyone who tries to scare you is doing so because they know that they are wrong? Only believe people who offer solutions that offer hope. Well so far Obama has been selling his wares of legislation to America under the “sky is falling” scenarios. His stimulus plan was necessary to avert a disaster according to him. If we didn’t have it we would have a catastrophe and unemployment would fall below 9%. Well he got what he wanted and we have even higher unemployment and money has gotten tighter.
Consumer confidence has waned and the majority of people want the stimulus stopped dead in it’s tracks now.
Obama has made one bad deal after another that has done nothing but harm Americans from his apology tour that was supposed to make us more likable to bailing out G.M. which was going to keep them in business instead of declaring bankruptcy.
His apology tour has made America appear weak to nations around the world. We only have to look to North Korea who is threatening a nuclear strike on Hawaii within a few days to Hamas. A terrorist organization still listed as such who is making demands on the United States to force our allies in Israel to leave their country or be destroyed.
His bail out of G.M., well he bailed them out just long enough with our tax money to keep them afloat for 30 days. Then he said that they were unsustainable and allowed them to declare bankruptcy, giving the United Auto Workers the lions share of the company, not the American people who bailed them out. Why would he do that if not to pay off the U.A.W. for their campaign work they did for him?
Why would Obama demand that charges against another terrorist group be dismissed when they were about to be found guilty of tampering with an election? Surly you have heard of the Black Panther escapade where they intimidated voters telling them “your gonna be ruled by a black man now” and not allowing older white males (John McCain supporters) in to vote? Again because he is supporting his supporters, not the constitution.
Just like ACORN. An allegedly “non partisan” group to help people get registered to vote. Since they get federal funds to operate they are supposed to be neutral in politics, only interested in the people getting registered. However they openly supported Obama and denounced the republicans. Now under investigation in 22 states for voter fraud, after multiple convictions of voter registration fraud for signing up dead people Obama gives them 6 billion dollars to operate. He also has given them more money and power by allowing them to partake in the taking of the census. That will determine yet where more money goes and to whom it goes.
His pick for a Supreme Court justice is perhaps the most telling of his ideology. A woman, who makes racists statements, belongs to a group known as La Raza another organization that is based upon Latino racial preferences and has actively sought to dismantle the south west and actually over throw the foundations of state there. She believes that her job is to make law from the bench, which is clearly against the law and constitution.
Obama himself has written a few books allegedly, although great speculation has been brought against this claim. I has been proven through tested and honored litary investigative techniques that William Ayers Obama’s long time associate and leader of the former domestic terrorist organization The weatherman underground wrote at least one if not two books for Obama. In these books that were authorized if not written by Obama time and time again he makes racial comments about “white people”. His own hand has documented his racism bleeding through out the book against whites and how he planned on manipulating them.
Take all this information into context. Obama plans on making America not a better place to live, but a place that he wants to see us living in. Where a majority of people who work and try to raise their families, provide a decent way of life through meaningful normalized processes, he is attacking on a daily basis.
His supporters have suffered through his legislation unknowingly. They believe that what he says is true, yet a deep look into what has been done shows clearly that he is not helping anyone. He gave some people about $10.00 a week as some help in the “Bush” created problems he says. Yet he has placed more burdens on companies that people use frequently and they have in turn passed their burdens onto consumers. Everyone is paying more for everything now. That is the straight out fact that all can see. Yet take into consideration the fact that he has put us in such great financial debt that the dollar has declined in it’s power through out the world. It is less valuable than when he took office because of his plans and legislation.
Obama was elected on a platform of hope and change. People were very upset with George W. Bush and so anything that would take them away from the Bush doctrine was what they wanted. They felt that Obama was the furthest away from it. He compared John McCain to Bush on a daily basis to a point that finally McCain who acted very gentlemanly stated, I am not Bush, if you wanted to debate him, you should have run 4 years ago. Obama’s people came up with the slogan McSame implying that McCain was like Bush to further remove him from anything that people wanted to see in the white house.
That was just good campaigning on Obama’s part. But less than accurate or truthful. His policies have actually done more in the area of placing restrictions on Americans that Bush’s policies did. All the things that Obama said he was against he not only approved of after election but took several steps further. A perfect example is the Patriot Act. People were so upset over the intrusion of rights on the people from this act. Obama said he was against it. Bt he has only strengthened it two fold since being in office declaring that it is now necessary.
His energy bill, he said that he wants to have a cleaner country and reduce greenhouse gases that are heating the planet and causing global warming. Although his information may have been founded in some sort of “science” at one time, as was the idea that the world was “flat” it is not valid. Does he know this? Certainly he does. A report from the government was suppressed stating that the “global warming” myth was based upon faulty evidence and shoddy science. Something that the U.K. stated years ago when Al Gore published his book and gained a Nobel Prize for it. (Gore also has 200 billion dollars invested in “green technology” as does Nancy Pelosi have a great share of her wealth tied up in “green technology”– speaker of the House of Congress). Both Pelosi and Gore stand to lose their fortunes if this legislation is not passed as well as many other democrats in the Senate and Congress.
3,200 notable scientist from around the world agreed that global warming was a myth and they told the United Nations that. Our own government made a report available a short time before the “cap and trade” bill was supposed to be voted on. That report stated that global warming was not real, that in fact we are in a global cooling stage and that it is part of a natural occurring process that he sun goes through.
This report was suppressed by Obama’s administration. It was not allowed to be viewed by congress. One can only assume that the facts of the matter would stop his plan for “necessarily raising electric costs through the roof” and “make the coal industry cost prohibitive”. His plan is to make these most used sources of power unfairly expensive and costly to every American so that they would need “vouchers” to have energy.
Onto health care. Obama wants universal health care for all. Sounds good doesn’t it?
But who is he really insuring? He says that 50 million Americans are without health care, but that number not only grossly over inflated but also counts 20 million people who are not Americans at all! They are illegal aliens mostly from Mexico who would receive benefits and over burden the system.
Obama himself has said that there would be a need to tax people for their health care. That to cut back on costs, physicians would have to be paid less for their services, be paid for treatment that was successful and there would have to be cutbacks on treatment that was not “cost effective”.
Lets examine this with a clear eye for just a minute, please.
Being a doctor is a very difficult profession. It requires the brightest and most dedicated people to take on such training for years and under such grueling conditions. If you know anything about the profession then you know that it takes about 8 years of medical school before you are even able to talk to a patient, let alone treat one. In your residency, which lasts for about 1- 3 years, you are often working 72 hours at a time with very little time off in between. Not only is this a terrific physical, mental and emotional burden that you must endure, but it is a social burden as well. Figure that during this times the average doctor is about 26 – 28 years old. They have NO social life because they work so much.
If they specialize then the must endure even more of this torture for their profession.
Now certainly people get involved with the medical profession because they like working with and want to help people. But they DESERVE to be compensated for their work as well. The better that they were the more they should be compensated. Likewise the more training that they have the higher they should be paid. Obama would do away with this insensitive totally. It is only natural that people being that bright would find other opportunities to make a living that was more lucrative and less troublesome with less regulation.
The second problem with Obama’s plan is that although it sounds good to pay only for successful treatment it will lead to less treatment of the most severe ailments. People who have a serious problem that would need a lot of treatment that would have questionable results would be left out entirely. Why bother?
I myself saw 17.. Count them 17 physicians who said that they would not operate on my spine because they were afraid that they would make it worse. Finally after years of suffering and finally dying of kidney failure I found one doctor who had the knowledge, skill and training to address my issue. He did the surgery that all others would not. Today I am writing this and better yet, I can walk. I doubt very much that he would have wasted 6 hours in the operating room, countless hours of pre operation testing and after care with me if he were not getting paid for it. He could easily have done 3 knee jobs and made more money with better chances of success under Obama’s plan.
Was it just him? Certainly not. I hand picked my anesthesiologist because when I went to sleep I wanted to make sure I woke up again. He postponed the surgery once because in his learned opinion I was not ready for it. THANK GOD FOR HIM. I also picked my neurosurgeon who was the one who moved my spinal chord for the orthopedic doctor to do the work. Thank god I had him there as well. He saw the tension that no one else was able to recognize and decided while I was on the table what was too dangerous to do and stopped the procedure mid way.
My team of doctors, each supported by their own staff had to make on the spot decisions based upon their years of study, practical experience, time with me and my best interests at that time. I know I was lucky to have them assembled, but they would never have been so if their payment were based upon their successful conclusions. They would have passed me by knowing full well that the chance for successfully treating me was slim.
All three of them had to change their schedules for that day, they were unable to treat other patients that would have been much easier to take care of and been paid under the Obama system.
Lastly and perhaps the most important position that Obama is taking is that of being “cost prohibitive” treatments. What exactly are “cost prohibitive treatments”? What does that mean?
Well under the systems that he is following, specifically those of the U.K. and Canada, it means that if you are older, or don’t have much “productivity” (i.e. Can’t contribute to the gross national product – pay taxes) then you aren’t worth some expensive treatments.
In recent examinations of the “free” health care systems of these countries it has been seen that people are dying for care.
They wait much longer periods of time for treatment and then don’t get it because it is deemed too expensive.
This is the model that Obama plans to follow.
Now lets complicate and further burden an already overburdened health care system that we have here with another 34 million people that aren’t paying for it while the rest of us pick up their share of payments. We move from treating about 205 million people to about 239 million people. At a time when hospitals are already over crowded, there are not enough doctors and beds to go around, Obama wants to add to the mess with an additional 20 million illegal aliens and some 19 million people who don’t necessarily WANT health care. But that doesn’t matter, they will be forced to have it.
Yet his plan still leaves another 15 million AMERICANS without health care.
So we give 20 million foreigners health care at our expense, cut back the elderly for their care and leave another 15 million American’s without health care at all! Does this sound even logical to you?
How would this be?
How about Obama starts telling the truth for once? I understand that it is not good and smarty politics but it is the right thing to do. I am sure that he won’t do it though.
So how would this be for a real change ….
Lets start looking at the reality of his suggestions instead of the hype behind it all.
