Look! A Diversion! Swine Flu is Back, Just in Time to Overshadow More Negative Obama Headlines. « NewsReal Blog: "ObamaCare’s popularity is plummeting to earth like the Hindenburg at Lakehurst. Last Friday, the administration released another terrifying budget estimate in which they somehow “misunderestimated” the deficit by $2 trillion. Yes, that’s trillion with a T. Very confidence-inspiring, no?
So, with bad news all around, it’s time for the administration to mount a distraction campaign on multiple fronts. On the first front, Attorney General Eric Holder threatens prosecution of the Bush-era CIA. On the second front – swine flu is going to kill us all. We will focus on that second front.
ON Anderson Cooper 360 Monday night, between interminable segments about OMG! Michael Jackson was MURDERED OMG! – seriously, fully half of an “investigative journalism” show is devoted to this thinly-sourced tabloid fodder? — the show managed to squeeze in a brief segment on big stories of the day. Swine flu was front and center."
