Obama Bearing False Witness Regarding Illegals and Health Care: "Gary Bauer points out that, despite repeated assurances from Democrats, illegal aliens will in fact be able to get taxpayer funded health care under the government takeover.



When the president held his conference with leftwing clergy last week, the first “myth” he singled out is the concern that illegals would be covered. Those who say differently, according to the president, are “bearing false witness.”



Democrats know that, according to a June Rasmussen poll, 80% of likely voters do not want illegals aliens covered in a health reform bill. So they have camouflaged their eligibility, even including language that appears to specifically exclude illegals from participation. But this language is meaningless because there is no verification method in the bill to assure that illegals do not receive benefits.



And so the Congressional Research Service, Congress’s think tank, says flatly, “H.R. 3200 does not contain any restrictions on noncitizens – whether legally or illegally present (in the U.S.) ... participating in the Exchange.”



So, who’s “bearing false witness” now, Mr. President?"
