Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano said Friday (11-27-09) that the Obama Administration is planning on including amnesty for illegal already in this country as a part of their "immigration reform."
She outlined a proposal for the 14 million illegal aliens already in the country to be able to "get on a pathway to being legal." She went on to argue why this would be good for America.
In the meantime she said her department would be focusing on criminal aliens when enforcing immigration laws, not on criminals who have violated the immigration laws.
