A Year After Obama and Romer's Recovery Plan, 3 Million Jobs Lost and 10% Unemployment - Associated Content - associatedcontent.com: "A year after Obama and Romer's so-called recovery plan, 3 million jobs lost and 10% unemployment is where the US currently stands. If your name is Barack Hussein Obama and one of your economic advisers' is Christina Romer, you have nothing to be proud of at all. In fact,
you may well consider kicking yourself immediately.

The date: January 9, 2009. The insanely optimistic report: The Job Impact of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan. The author: Christina Romer. The president on whom this reflects: Barack Obama. Today is the dreaded, one-year anniversary of a now-most infamous report, The Job Impact of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan. If the out-and-out lies contained therein wouldn't be so disgusting, it may even well be funny, or at least pathetic in the most fundamental sense.

Of all the cataclysmic errors the Obama Administration made, The Job Impact of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan is likely their worst, at least economically. When you hear commentators like Sean Hannity hold over the heads of Obama and company the fact that they said the stimulus had to be passed immediately if the unemployment rate was to stay below 8%, this is the report in reference. When you hear GOP lawmakers like Eric Cantor say that Obama promised to keep the unemployment rate beneath at least 8.5% if the stimulus bill passed, this is the report in reference."
