CAIR Denounces Ted Tancredo’s Tea Party Remarks On Immigrants | Personal Liberty Digest: "During the recent convention of the Tea Party nation, former Republican Congressman and presidential candidate Tom Tancredo delivered a speech in which he blasted 'illiterate' immigrants for having elected President Obama. His statement is now attracting growing criticism from ethnic organizations.
At the convention, Tancredo said that those who cannot spell or say the word 'vote' in English elected Obama, whom he defined as 'a committed socialist ideologue.' He added that this happened because 'we do not have a civics, literacy test before people can vote.'"
