Exclusive: Society’s Failure to Flourish: Staggering Ignorance, Arrogance and Deception » Publications » Family Security Matters: "Without getting religious or philosophical about it, try to answer a simple question: Why is there so much poverty in the world? You should be able to answer it; but undoubtedly you have been indoctrinated into believing the answer is too complicated to reduce it to simple terms. So let’s be painfully simple – the poor don’t have enough money.

Now before you jump me for stating the obvious ask yourself why there has been no national effort to make the poor rich. Why do $50 million Christmas bonuses for Wall Street hedge fund managers co-exist with 20 percent of the work force being broke and unemployed? In a vibrant capitalist economy, are there no financial tools to close the gap between the haves and have-nots?

It is staggeringly ignorant, arrogant and deceptive to believe America can’t close that gap and doesn’t have the tools to make the poor richer. Until America does it will fail to reach even 5 percent of its potential. It will continue to politically flail around bouncing between individualism and collectivism until it realizes that it can “collectively” make each “individual” American wealthy."
