Why give Miranda to a man who is not a citizen? Why give a criminal trial to a man who is not a citizen?
The terrorists are combatants. They need to be tried in a military court. There is no "jury of their peers" in a criminal trial. Giving Miranda is just telling them to be silent until they get a lawyer.
Once they have a lawyer, it will take months of bartering for a lighter sentence to get valuable information out of them. America is in a lose lose situation. ~~ The Munz
