Report: Justice Department Unprepared For A WMD Attack | Personal Liberty Digest

In a new report, the Justice Department’s inspector general concludes that the majority of the nation’s law enforcement agencies are unprepared for an attack involving a weapon of mass destruction (WMD).

The 61-page review, authored by inspector general Glenn Fine, found that none of the law enforcement agencies under the Justice Department’s control—with the exception of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)—have developed operational response plans to deal with an attack, The New York Times reports. It also found that the department, as a whole, is "uncoordinated and fragmented" in terms of their oversight management.
