Barack Obama is trying to ban all ammo! By using "his" unelected bureaucrats in Environmental Protection Agency, Obama wants to ban all hunting, target and self-defense ammo that contains even traces of lead. That’s right, they’re trying to ban your ammo. By using the Toxic Substance Control Act of 1976, they want to ban all hunting, target and self-defense ammo that contains lead, no matter how little. There is no doubt what this "rule change" would lead to... . . . a complete ban on all ammunition not approved by Obama's anti-gun green police. To the EPA, Majority Leader Reid and Speaker Pelosi: Whereas: The Environmental Protection Agency is attempting to ban all hunting, target and self- defense ammunition that contains even trace elements of lead, by citing the Toxic Substance Control Act of 1976. The Act specifically exempts firearms ammunition for the provision of the bill, and; Whereas: There is no scientific proof that ammunition containing lead has any negative environmental impact, and; Whereas: By attempting this rule change, the EPA has show a chilling contempt for the legislative process. By circumventing the elected Representatives of the people, they are trampling on the Constitution and the elected bodies of Congress, and; Whereas: Any attempt to ban ANY ammunition before an election will be responded to in kind at the ballot box. Therefore: I demand you publicly condemn this outrageous attempt to ban ammunition by bureaucratic rule change.
