'Tin-eared' Pelosi off-base on mosque debate (OneNewsNow.com):

The CEO of the nation's largest public policy women's organization says it's outrageous that Nancy Pelosi seems to care more about investigating the detractors of the 9/11 mosque than those who are spearheading the project.

Congresswoman Pelosi (D-California), the Speaker of the House, created quite a stir when during a recent interview on KCBS radio in San Francisco she hinted that the government should investigate those who oppose the construction of the mega-mosque so close to Ground Zero.

"There is a concerted effort to make this a political issue by some," she told KCBS. "And I join those who have called for looking into how...this opposition to the mosque [is] being funded. How is this being ginned up?" It was unclear who those individuals are she says have called for an investigation.
