(CNSNews.com) - With a new fiscal year set to begin at the stroke of midnight on Thursday, the U.S. Congress has yet to pass any of the 13 appropriations bills that would keep the government running in fiscal year 2011.

Given that the federal government would otherwise be forced to shutdown on October 1, time is running short for Congress to enact the catch-all continuing resolution that will be needed to fund government operations after tomorrow. As of 11:30 am Eastern time on Wednesday, Sept. 29, the text of this bill had not been finalized and presented to members of Congress or the public.
