Where are Muslim protests against terrorism?: "Disclaimer: I abhor the thought of the actions that were proposed by the Rev. Terry Jones. Burning a book like the Quran (revered by many as their word of God) would be sickening, disgusting and plain stupid.
However, when I watch and read about the throngs of peace-loving Muslims around the world burning things and protesting the plans for this horrid act, I can’t help thinking — where are these people on the front lines of the war on terror? It seems to me that they are happy to have other people die for their human rights and freedoms. This proliferation of double standards is equally as disturbing as burning the Quran.
If the billions of Muslims stood up (beside us) to al-Qaida and the Taliban, these terror organizations would fizzle within days. I would love to see 500,000 Muslims protesting terror in the name of Islam.
