The New Media Journal | Black Judge Turns Down Plea Deal for ‘White Boy’: "A black judge in western Pennsylvania turned down a plea on the basis of the defendant’s skin color, stating that it was “a ridiculous plea that only goes to white boys.” The Judge, Joseph Williams, later recused himself but amazingly still has his job.

The case involved a 24-year-old man who got into an altercation with police during a traffic stop. The man, Jeffery McGowan, entered a plea of disorderly conduct in exchange for a sentence of three months’ probation, but the judge wasn’t having any."
