Bipartisan Bill Would Let States Opt Out Of Obamacare By 2014 | Personal Liberty Digest: "Senators from both major political parties are working together to alter President Barack Obama's healthcare law.

According to media reports, Senators Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) and Scott Brown (R-Mass.) have co-authored the Empower States to Innovate Act. The legislation, if approved by Congress, would alter the current healthcare bill, which was signed by Obama earlier this year, by allowing states to opt out of Federal mandates by 2014 if they are able to satisfy the level of services and coverage provided under the existing law.

The current law says that states can apply for waivers to opt out of the program starting in 2017."
