David G. Oedel, a professor at Mercer University School of Law, recently joined Professor Randy E. Barnett of Georgetown University to write The Wall Street Journal op-ed, 'ObamaCare and the General Welfare Clause.' In that piece, Oedel says the requirement that states extend their Medicaid coverage to more people exceeds Congress' spending power."
