The New Media Journal | Napolitano Acquiesces to Getting Tips from Israel on Airport Security

The New Media Journal | Napolitano Acquiesces to Getting Tips from Israel on Airport Security: "After a holiday travel season that included overly invasive security pat-downs and quasi-pornographic full-body security scans, which provoked the ire of US travelers everywhere, US Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano is said to have acquiesced to gleaning information on airport travel security from the Israeli government.

Napolitano will travel to Israel this week and will use at least part of that visit to assess passenger vetting procedures and other counter-terrorism measures employed at its Ben-Gurion Airport, government officials said Sunday. This observation is most likely to include an advanced profiling measure that has kept the Israeli airlines, ElAl, one of the world's most safe and secure airlines."
