Judge for yourself. How did Obama suddenly become a decisive leader? True to form, Obama waffled for weeks. Allied with Valerie Jarrett, Obama couldn't bring himself to give the go-ahead to Panetta and the CIA which had developed the plan and had been urging the action for weeks.
Clinton, Petraeus, and Gates were solidly behind the plan and Gates even threatened to retire sooner than planned. I wondered why Clinton looked like the cat that swallowed the canary. She had to know the true story would out. She's looking good. Panetta was beaming. Credit where credit is due. Leading from behind, indeed."
