Richard Cordray: Lawsuits Against Obamacare "Frivolous" Because of Commerce Clause | MRCTV: During a 2010 interview President Obama's pick to run the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Richard Cordray, explained why he, as Attorney General of Ohio, was not joining other states in lawsuits against Obamacare. In laying out his reasoning he expresses his belief that any legislation which has even "incidental effects on the economy" is a "valid exercise of congressional authority".
